Weekend - 4th and 5th April
- main work to be completed Saturday 4th April from 9.30am to 4.30pm
Our outline plans, to date, are as follows :
- Prepare ground for the season - general cutting, renovation etc of outfield and cricket square
- Erection/repairs to permanent nets
- Repairs to portable net
- Rebuild of 2 older site screens - to replace sections and enlarge
- Repair / levelling of uneven part of outfield at top of ground.
- Painting of exterior cladding on Pavilion at Changing rooms end
- Possible provision of "rustic" benches on top bank of ground opposite cricket square
- Possible provision of picnic benches adjacent to childrens playground.
- General tidy up of ground and garage etc.
We would like to arrange a working party so that the necessary work can be undertaken, but we can share the load and have a bit of fun.
