Match report A run feast which didn't seem possible considering the rain over the last 24 hours! On a damp pitch I won the toss and put them in - sensible move most would say?? However, we didn't bowl and field particularly well and with a very short boundary one side they amassed a score of 257-4 from 45 overs. Khan took 2-62 from his 13 overs and Kieran Barrett 1-37 from 6, and there was a good run out. It will seem like we only had TWO players today as Khan and Kieran opened the batting and hit an outstanding 242 partnership before Kieran was caught for 78. An excellent knock from Kieran. Khan was superb and his 12th 6 won us the game and he finished with a fantastic 155 not out from 97 balls. A very fine 9 wicket win keeps the team's confidence high, although we need to improve our bowling and fielding if we are to challenge for the title.
