Match report The first game of the season saw us travel to Thatcham for a friendly. After winning the toss the skipper chose to bat first. A solid batting performance saw us post 233. Good contributions from the skipper, Robbie, Howard and clarkey.
In reply Thatcham were in early trouble with good bowling from Howard and Errol. Some more steady bowling from Cyril helped keep he pressure from ones end but the lack in bowling depth was highlighted at the other. Too many bad balls were easy to hit and some sloppy fielding did not help things.
In the end Thatcham won by 3 wickets with 11 balls remaining.
Decent warm up with areas needing improving on!
