Match report Purley got off to a flying start as Gautham Kamath and Pete Rackley put on 45 for the first wicket when Gautham was caught for 26. Robbie Jeffery and Pete then put on 130 for the next wicket as they pummelled the bowling, Robbie was caught for 74, Max Baker-Smith hit a rapid 21 but after Pete was caught for 47 we slumped from 192 for 3 to 220 for 7 off 40 overs. In reply Cookham got off to a good start until Robbie Jeffery bowled John Gay for 13 and when Ashley Hillier picked up two wicket in an over Cookham were rocking on 48 for 3 but an 84 run fourth wicket partnership formed as Cookham 1st teamer Ben Millar hit ten fours and two sixes but it was halted by a superb diving one-handed catch at gully by Luke Wilkinson when on 73. Luke was then the bowler when Ashley Hillier also produced a superb catch at gully to remove Paul Farnborough who was on 58. Cookham Dean finally won off the last over as Chris Austin scored a four to claim a two wicket win with five balls to spare.
