Match report Purley started their 2007 season in good form with an excellent 71 run victory over Reading Panthers.

Batting first the normally reliable Rohan Wijeratne and Chris Rackley both failed with the bat. However a fantastic knock of 71 not out by Alex High well supported by a hard hit 44 by Callum McCulloch pushed the total to 141 for 3 off of 20 overs.

In reply Reading struggled against a good bowling performance with Jamie Elliot bagging 3 wickets ably supported by 2 wicket men Callum McCulloch, Matt Mures and Alex High - Tom Brampton and Rohan Wijeratne both bowled well with no reward.

In the field Purley performed well with arun out by Sam Igoe, 3 stumpings and a catch by keeper Chris Rackley and a catch by Callum McCulloch.
