Purley on Thames CC runs training and junior sides for Starters (aged 6 to 8), U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17. The Club has been one of the most prominent in the county for over 10 years and produces many young cricketers who go on to play senior club cricket.

Indoor winter training starts in February each year at various local venues (Denefield School, Pangbourne School and Bradfield College) for each age group.

Age group Coaching and training continues outside at the Goosecroft Ground from mid April until late August on midweek evenings in the summer with ECB qualified coaches under the supervision of the Club's Chairman of Junior Cricket, Martin Bishop.

The protection and support of young people in cricket is of paramount importance to Purley on Thames CC. The Club has adopted the ECB Child Protection Policy 'Safe Hands - Welfare of Young People in Cricket' and has been awarded ClubMark status in recognition of our policies towards child welfare. The Club has also appointed Karen and Martin Bishop as our Club Welfare Officers.

Fixtures and results for all age groups can be found in the relevant sections of the website.

The Club welcomes new Junior players and coaches of all standards, please contact Martin Bishop using the 'contact us' section of our website or come over to the ground on any midweek evening (other than Monday) evenings in the summer to see us in action.
