Match report Purley secured their first League win of the season with an excellent all round performance to defeat Sulhamstead & Ufton by 8 runs.

Batting first Purley scored 82 for 7 from their 20 overs with Jack Purser retired on a maximum 30. All the batsmen did well by occupying the crease, running very well and trying to push the score along.

Excellent bowling from all of Purley's bowlers, Jordan Seward, Ashley Hillier and Joe Stephens in particular, well backed up by good catches by Joe Stephens (3), Jake Collins, Jack Purser and Andrew Clarke plus 2 run outs in another excellent fielding display, meant that Sulhamstead were all out in their last over 8 runs short.

Well played both teams in a very good and tight match.
