Match report A terrible batting performance let us down today. The skipper lost the toss on a damp pitch and with showers looming, it was not a good one to lose! And so it proved, although there were some careless shots and not enough application by a number of batsmen. The ball kept low and moved about a bit, and after an opening stand of 16 Zameer (9) gave a caught and bowled. Azad (9) added 10 with the skipper before 4 wickets fell on 26. Only Nufail (28) showed any resistance, and was last out with the score on 64. We took 2 wickets, but they completed the win scoring 66-2 in the 22nd over. A very disappointing result, and one that we should forget about and move on to next week.
