Match report On a day with much rain forecast it was always unlikely this game would be completed. However, we started with the skipper losing the toss and they decided to bat. The outfield was very fast with small boundaries and our young team found it hard going. We fell way below the standard we have set in the field and dropped 6 catches. The boys didn't get too demoralised and we did really well to take 8 wickets, with Nufail the pick taking 3-38 off 8 overs, and 14 year old Sam Jugg bowled well again with 1-29 off 5. We started and then came off for a few minutes for rain with Nufail looking in fine form. However, when we returned to the field the skipper, Nufail and Munzeer fell quickly leaving us 53-3 after 8 overs. Young James Mugford joined the in-form Pahi and they set about the Woodley attack. They raced to 129-3, a partnership of 76, with Pahi 47no and James 25no before the rain became too heavy and didn't stop, abandoning the game. This was disappointing as this could have been a fantastic run chase.
