Match report A superb game and another great win - 7 out of 7 now!! Kidmore End only turned up with 8 players but 5 of them were excellent players for their age. We won the toss and chose to field. Kidmore got off to a flyer and had 50 up in 5th over. However, we restricted them to 114-5 in the end. Oliver PLuck got his first wicket for Purley and no runs off his two overs. Superb opening batting from James Denton and Connor Wheeler to see off the first two Kidmore bowlers, who were very good. James retired 27 n.o and then a rapid 28 ret'd from Robert Goodwin and 19 from Callum Pearse left us needing 5 off the last over. Connor and Matt Kilford then ran a single off the first 5 balls to win the game with 1 ball to spare. Quarter Finals here we come!!
