Come and join us
Purley on Thames CC want you to come and JOIN US! We are looking for new members of all ages and abilities, both playing and non-playing.
We are based in the village of Purley on Thames which is just 10 minutes drive from central Reading and 2 minutes from Pangbourne or Tilehurst (our nearest railway stations).
Adult teams
On the field we run 3 Adult teams on a Saturday. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd XIs all play in the Thames Valley League, in Levels 4, 6 and 10 respectively (3rd XI games are played at Yattendon CC).
On Sundays the club runs 2 teams, one in Friendly fixtures against local opposition, and our Potters Academy (very much a development XI) play in the Berkshire Sunday Blast League.
Our Midweek team play in Division 1 of the Reading Midweek League, with matches starting at 6:15pm (15/15 format - 8 ball overs).
Women's cricket
Our women's "Eagles" play soft ball cricket in the Berkshire Cricket Women's Soft Ball League Division 3.
Junior and girls' cricket
We have a thriving junior section with 7 junior teams (boys/mixed) from All Stars (ages 5 to 7) up to under 17.
Additionally, we have a vibrant girls section with teams (Under 11, 13) playing regularly in the Berkshire Cricket Foundation Girls League.
The Club is "Clubmark" accredited by the England and Wales Cricket Board and has an excellent and progressive coaching structure.

We also welcome applications for both social membership and from anyone who would like to get involved in any of the volunteer roles that we have (umpiring, scoring, ground preparation etc).
Members of Purley on Thames CC are welcome at Purley Sports and Social Club, whose facilities are available throughout the whole year.
