Hi - update on the Goosecroft Extension to provide an additional cricket ground as part of a new community recreational area.
The Parish Council has funded the upgrade of water supplies on the Goosecroft site at a cost of circa £90k which is a vital enabler for the Goosecroft extension.
There is now a Parish Council led GoodExchange project live for the remaining cost. The Parish Council are in discussion with Greenham Grants for a possible large grant as well as several other grant givers.
As Purley on Thames Cricket Club we are in discussions regarding an England and Wales Cricket Board grant to enable the Goosecroft extension and increase playing opportunities.
This is a huge opportunity for the cricket club to expand and provide facilities for all and increase the opportunity for people to participate and enjoy healthy exercise.
Currenty the fundraising project includes "matched funding" so that small individual donations will be doubled.
