Hello everyone
Thanks to everyone who attended race night on Saturday. We raised about £350. Thanks to Big Al who came all the way from Doncaster to the event. Thanks to Chris Allen for selling raffle tickets, Patrick Allen for selling all the horses prior to the event and thanks to Barry Carter, Cherish April and Paul Reber for working the tote.
On a disappointing note there was not a great turnout on the night and we therefore did make as much as we could have. It is very obvious that the current econominic climate is not great and it is school holidays meaning a number of people are away.
The cricket club relies on these events to make enough money to cover the costs of the cricket season. We would really appreciate some really good support at our social events - look forward to enjoying them with you next time!
