Match report Another good win from Purley on Thames, we had a last minute injury to Callum Pearse so Archie Danbury was promoted to opener and played brilliantly to end up retiring on 28 no closely followed by Connor Wheeler 27 no and a patient innings from our other opener Tom Chapman close to the end on 26 no and Woody Chapman ended on 23 no. A good batting performance but we struggled to reach the totals we set ourselves so something to learn for next time. We mixed the bowling about and eveyone performed well but a few too many extras in the form of wides and no balls so still something to work on, special mention to a suberb display of fast bowling from Connor Wheeler ending on 3 overs 10 runs for 2 wickets which changed the game for us and also to Woody Chapman 2-0-4-2, Charlie Wheeler 1-0-4-1 and Archie Danbury 2-0-9-1, well done everyone you all contributed to another great win.
