Match report First league game of the season and a really good performance following on from our cup win on Sunday. We were put in to bat again and posted a good total of 126-4, with superb batting from James Denton (30no) and Thomas Axson (33no). Robert Clarke hit another 6 in his 17, and a good finish from Mark Russell (19no) and Connor Wheeler (9no) gave us the total of 126. We then bowled and fielded well, although there were a few too many wides for my liking (the hard task master that I am!). They were always well behind the run rate, and the pick of the bowlers was Connor Wheeler with 4-1-7-0.
