Match report Another very good win for our boys against a Finchampstead side that were all Under 13's (no under 12's in their 11). They won the toss and put us in, and another solid batting performance gave us a good total of 119-5. The two "Robs" excelled again, with Rob Haggis retiring on 30 and Rob Clarke retiring on 33. We bowled and fielded well at the start to put them under pressure, and when the chances came we took them. Good bowling from Max Baker-Smith (3-20) and Thomas Axson (2-14), with 2 catches from Rob Haggis and one from Max. In the final over they needed 22 to win and gave us a little scare by scoring 14 off it, but we came through and won by 7 runs. A great start to the season, with the next round of the Cup on Sunday at home to Wargrave.
