Match report Disappointing end to the season where I don't feel that we played to our full potential but were beaten by the better team on the day. Batting first we struggled for the first time this year to score runs quickley but a good patnership by Matt Kilford and Archie Danbury at the end got us up to 95, 20-30 below par for what we had set ourselves. We knew we had a fight on our hands bur Purley bowled like lions spear headed by Connor Wheeler who bowled 3 quick overs for 2 runs and 1 wicket, Arjun Mather only let 8 runs off his 3 overs and Callum Pearse let 5 off his 3 overs, 9 overs for 15 runs was a great effort but unfortunately not enough to stop a good batting performance by Finchampstaed getting to the total in the 19th over. A great season still and still league champions - well done Purley under 11's you should all be proud of what you have done this year.
