Match report The bad form continues.... Lost the toss again and were put in the field. Overseas star Mahmood dominated with a very powerful 88. Purley's bowlers tried hard and once Mahmood was removed the rest of the Bracknell batting fell quite easily. Slow bowlers Allen and Cyril's understudy Clark bowled well to do most of the damage. Bracknell were bowled out for 169 which was a good effort after the early onslaught.
Again a excellent tea was served up and the Potters indulged, possibly too much as it didn't do us any favours when it came to the batting.
Gautham was removed in the first over with a good delivery from Mahmood, Allen and Clark steadied things before both were removed from full toss deliveries. We crumbled to 100 for 8 before Schoers and Dogger dug in and put on 45. Unfortunately we could not go all the way and were eventually bowled out for a poor 145.
Next week we face Odiham at the Goosecroft. Need to pick up our performance after the last 2 weeks starting with the skipper who needs to win a toss!!!!!
