Match report What a great win, in a thrilling finish! Steve Dyer captained the side in my absence, and won the toss and chose to bat. After the first few overs he may have been regretting that decision, as the pitch was playing unbelievably slow, with various bounces, and not easy to bat on at all - very unusual for Ibis! However, after losing Steve and Jeff, Kevin Denton (63) and Kirwan Roach (21) put on a good 92 run partnership, which was the basis for our 160-9 off 45 overs. This seemed a good 15-20 runs short, and apart from an early wicket for Harry Bell the rest of their top 6 got going, and it looked like they were cruising to victory. However, good bowling from Rob Holman (1-21), Callum Wood (2-20), and an excellent second spell from Vikram Kamath (5-33) meant that they were all out for 158, and we won by 2 runs.
