Match report A 3rd successive win for us and a very good team performance. I lost the toss, which proved a good move as I would have fielded. They put us in, and Steve (22) and Jack Mundell (32) got us off to a flyer. We were 72-2 off 9 overs and then lost Khan (12) in the tenth over. The scoring was halted for the next 12 overs by some accurate bowling and we lost Barry (3) with the score on 111. However an excellent 5th wicket partnership of 113 between Kirwin (65) and Andrew Clarke (57) helped take our total to 244-7 from 45 overs. In the field we bowled and fielded excellently with Khan Azad taking the headlines with his 6-19. He was excellently supported by Vikram (1-25) and Rob Holman (3-6) as we bowled them out for 56. Rob took the last two wickets in successive balls so is on a hat-trick for his next game. It was a great team effort and a pleasure to play and captain the side on days like today, long may it continue (although I fear the other two captains will be looking at some of my players!)
