Purley on Thames CC Saturday 3rd XI v Shinfield 2nds on Sat 18 Jun 2011 at 13.30
Purley on Thames CC Won by 8 wickets

Match report Another excellent win for us, and a good all-round team performance. On a damp pitch the game started half an hour late but the Shinfield skipper called incorrectly and a good toss to win meant that we put them in to bat. Good bowling from everyone, and catches taken (well most of them!), even if two were at the second attempt. We bowled them all out for 112, with Khan and Nalin taking 2 wickets each, and a fine spell at the end from young Jack Mundell with 3-10 off his 4.5 overs gave us a great chance of a comfortable win. Steve went with the score at 3 but then an excellent partnership of 104 between Khan (38) and Pahi (58no) took us to 107. Pahi completed the win with two consecutive 4's, and we won the game by 8 wickets.
