Match report
The badgers finished the season against a very good Henley side and once again did themselves proud.
Improving on last weeks bowling & fielding performance the Badgers had easily their best performance in the field. The bowling was superb taking 7 wickets and the fielding was very impressive. Restricting Henley to 270 for 7 was a great feat and one the boys should be very proud of and but for some wides it would have been ever better.
Against a good bowling attack the boys struggled and batting is certainly the area we can improve on and we will continue to work on this throughout August and next year.
Again lots more positives to take from this game and again I must stress that this is a development team and these are the boys we have identified of being good players for the future and I am convinced will go on to be a very good under 9 side next year and in most cases the year after too.
