Match report Another good win for Purley Kites, Archie Danbury won the toss and decided to bowl on a damp wicket and apart from a good knock from the Berkshire Under 11 Captain there was not a great deal of opposition and we restricted them to 57 off 20 overs. Bowlers of the day were Ollie Honeyman with 2 overs 3 wickets for 2 runs, Archie Danbury 3 overs 2 wickets for 3 runs and Charlie Wheeler 2 overs 2 wickets for 4 runs and Michael Turner 2 over 1 wicket for 4 runs. Batting was hampered when our opening batsman and captain ran himself out with the help of Jordan off the second ball leading to the old adage of never run on a miss field ! But 57 was never going to be a great challenge and we managed to score the runs in 13.1 overs with Jordan Murray Robertson playing the superb anchor role through the innings. Good result but still things we can work on, well done Purley Kites !
