Match report Another great win from Purley Kites on a very hot Sunday morning. Captain Archie Danbury led a well drilled fielding performance which restricted West Ilsley to 86 off 20 overs. Excellent bowling performances from Charlie Wheeler 1 over 2 Runs and 1 Wicket, Sophie Castle 3 Overs 6 Runs and 1 Wicket and Jamie Close and Archie both took 1 Wicket each, a special mention to Isaac Danbury for his 2 overs for only 5 runs, superb ! Batting order was changed to allow other people the chance and Sophie Castle grabbed this opportunity by scoring a magnificent 26 not out and didn't hit one ball in the air. Jordan Murray-Robertson then stepped up remembering the training session from this Wednesday and we ran the West Ilsley team ragged with quick singles helped by Josh Castle and Kyle Swire Thompson, run rate under control all the way through. A fantastic all round performance and special mention to our Captain Archie Danbury who led and set the field brilliantly today which helped us win the game. A great game played in a great spirit where everyone contributed and we even managed the sprinkler celebration at the end !
