Match report Purley started the season with a good display away at Theale and Tilehurst getting a 26 run win.
Purley won the toss and batted first registering 250-3 from 45 overs, skipper Patrick Allen hit 87 (with 3 drops!), Dan Clark hit 89 not out and all the other batsman chipped in.
Theale started their chase well and looked as if they could reach the target only for a few quick wickets which halted their charge. Dom Chatwin was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 26 from 8 overs.
