Match report YES! YES! YES! My boys did me so proud today and played superbly to "cruise" to a semi-final win, and we have finally got our just rewards and a place on finals day. Now we go to the final in confident mood and hope to bring home the trophy for the first time! Connor won the toss and put them into bat. The bowling and fielding won us this game. Connor (4-1-3-0) and Max (4-2-10-2) had a brilliant opening 6 overs and left West Ilsley struggling on 12-2. We then produced some great fielding with two run-outs from direct hits by Matt and Ollie, and great throw into Rawdie from Adam. Adam took a catch and Rawdie took a catch and a great stumping off a wide in the last over to leave them on 73-7 from their 20 overs. Good suppport bowling from Jack, Matt, Callum and James. Max amd Connor then set about their bowlers and Max (17) got an lbw when the score was 24 in the 6th over. Jake (6) was bowled and Callum came in with the score 33 from 7 overs. Connor (26no) and Callum (16no) then comfortably saw us home with the first ball of the 19th over. A great win and we look forward to next Sunday's final at Sulhampstead. Great support from the parents today and hope as many parents and players can come and support us next Sunday. Well done to all the boys!
