Match report The Potters travelled to the beautiful village of Bray for their latest TVL game. The Potters skipper called incorrectly at the toss and the Bray captain elected to bat first. Purley started well keeping things tight. Caleb took the 1st wicket with a short delivery which was pulled straight to debutant Rahu Thava who clung on for a good catch. More excellent bowling from Caleb brought further wickets including an exxcellent leg side stumping from Rackers. The Potters kept chipping away with Cyril and Alex picking up important scalps. A small resistence came from the lower middle order, this was then ended by debutant Amit Rawal who bowled well to pick up 2 wickets. The Bray innings ended in 37 overs, bowled out for 139.
The Potters reply was confident, the skipper and Dan Clark picked up quick singles and punished the bad balls. The skipper registered a quick fifty before being removed bowled off his pads. Dan held firm ending 55 not out with Reebs 16 not out. A very good 8 wicket victory and 20 more points in the bag.
