Match report After losing the toss again,Purley were asked to bat on a another wet wicket and were soon in trouble at 35 for 3.But Steve Purser come out to join Gautham Kamath and they put together a brillant partnership before Gautham departed for a superb 104.Steve went on to make an outstanding 94,with excellant support from Andrew Clarke (34n/o)and quickfire 20 from Nick Holeman as Purley posted 280 for 6 in their 52 overs.Purley started with the old ball and youngster George Clarke got the break through Purley needed. The Purley seamers took over after 10 overs with Nick Holeman and Andrew Bailey looking dangerous and both taking a wicket a piece.But Chiswick fought back with some very attacking stroke play and it wasn't until Bailey returned to join Nick for a 2nd spell that wickets started to tumble.Nick took 6 for 42 on his return from injury from nearly 15 overs and Andrew Bailey took 3 wickets to leave Chiswick bowled out for 192 for an 86 run win for the 2nds to push them up to 2nd place.After their recent travels the 2nds are looking forward to a home game against Bagshot next week.
