Match report A winning draw and 23 points, and a much better performance than last week. The skipper lost the toss again and they put us into bat. On a very slow pitch the skipper edged one behind early and we were 3-1. Kirwin opened and him and Pahi put a good partnership together of 79, before Pahi was out for a good 54. Kirwin followed 1 run later for a patient 22. Pat (12) and Jack (29) then put on 47, before some good shots from Nufail (15) and Callum (22no) took us to a good total of 176-9. Harry and Vikram then bowled brilliantly without any luck and after 16 overs their score was 18, Vikram bowling his first 5 overs as maidens! This set their stool out for a draw. We took some good catches but never looked like bowling them out, although Jeff "cheese on bread" Hinds did his best with a good 3-23 off 8. Although a drawn game it felt like a win, and was good to get 23 points fromm the game.
