Match report A very impressive team performance from the 3rds today. The toss was crucial and luckily I lost it, as I would have batted first due to the extreme heat. The pitch was a little green and proved to be tricky to bat on, so a good toss to lose. Vikram (2-35), Callum (2-25) and Nufail (2-5) bowled well but an excellent spell from Pahi was rewarded with figures of 3-10 from 7 overs. There were two superb catches, one from Pat at 2nd slip, and a brilliant caught and bowled from Nufail. Sam got the final wicket with his third ball to bowl them out for 90 in the 28th over. The only criticism is we have to look at our extras, as we gave away 32 out of their 90, with 23 wides. an improvement needed next week. Kevin (42no) and Pahi (38no) saw us home in 11 overs before tea and a nice early finish. A very comfortable win.
