Match report A great start to the season for the Under 15's. We had a few players missing and a couple of players were playing their first games for us. George Clarke skippered the side and won the toss and put them into bat. The opening bowlers Robert Clarke (4-1-5-1) and Thomas Axson (4-1-7-3) were superb and Wargrave were 11-3 after 6 overs. Some good bowling followed, with Matthew Cooper bowling in a match for the first time and was 0-6 off his two overs. Matthew Heslop was playing his first game as well, and kept wicket very well. They finished with 79-7 from 20 overs. Max Baker-Smith (36no) and James Denton (20 retired) batted sensibly and took the score to within 15 when James had to leave to go to a football tournament. Robert Clarke got caught with 4 needed, but Max hit the next ball for 4 to win the game in the 14th over. A very comprehensive win and encouraging performance from all 11 players.
