Match report A very convincing and comfortable win to maintain our 100% league record. We lost the toss and they chose to bat. Good bowling from all the bowlers, backed up by some good catching, with Robert Clarke taking three catches. The skipper, George Clarke, posted excellent figures of 2-5 from his 4 overs. We bowled them out for 53 in the 15th over. I decided to give a few players a bat that have not been getting a bat, so opened with Darius accompanied by the usual top order batsman in Robert Clarke. Darius and Matthew Cooper quickly departed getting caught, but Robert was destroying their bowling on his own. In trying to give James M the strike he run him out for 1. Rob finished the game with a 4 to bring up his 52no from our total of 55-3. The other two runs were extras. An exceptional performance from Robert that included two 6's and eight 4's. We expect a tougher game next week away to Falkland.
