Match report Another disappointing day on the field. The toss went in Purleys favor and the captain was popular by electing to bat on a scorching hot day. However, a solid start soon went wrong. Mistimed shots and bad shot selection saw us crumble to 110 all out.
Chesham had 64 overs to reach the total and were forced to use nearly half of these due to some superb bowling all round. Lincoln bowled 4 maidens in his first 5 overs (and only went for 8 runs in his first 6 overs), while Clough was bowling FAST and straight - his first 5 going for only 8.
3 points gained from the day is not good enough - we need some wins now.
