Match report I lost the toss for the third time in four matches and were put into the field on an overcast day with the threat of rain in the air. The Holman brothers, Nick and Rob opened the bowling and Nick struck in only the fourth ball as he bowled Terry Oliver for 2. Nick then removed the dangerous number three as he was brilliantly caught down the leg side by Andrew Clarke after he had gloved a rising delivery. Rob finally got into his stride and removed David Pike for 6 to leave Donnington on 49 for 3. The very next ball there was a huge shout for a stumping which was turned down by umpire in a spot of deja vu from two years ago, Luke Howe was finally out when he was caught by George Clarke at point off of George Wheeler for 22. Brian Lawrence had made 43 patient runs and Robin Wallace 15 when rain finally called a halt to the proceedings with Donnington 130 for 4 off 27 overs.
