Match report A comprehensive winning start to our league campaign against a weakened West Ilsley side due to District commitments. However, our boys still played very well, with superb bowling and fielding. We won the toss and James Denton decided to field. Adam Khan (2-5) and Tom Wheeler (2-2) restricted them to 7-3 off the first 6 overs. Jameel (2-2) and James Mugford (0-11) bowled well for the next 6 overs and James Denton (1-7) and Harry Russell (2-2) finished them off. Tom Wheeler completed a run out on the 4th ball of the last over and we had bowled them out for 30. Tom Wheeler (5) and Daniel Bernie (10) scored the runs to get us to 18-5 before James Denton (12no) came in and finished the game with a lovely 4 in the 10th over. A very comfortable and well-deserved win for the team. We look forward to tomorrow's game at home to Henley.
