Match report A very comfortable win for the boys in their last league game of the season. Max won the toss and on a very hot evening chose to bat. Max departed without scoring in the second over and then James Denton was bowled for 13. James Mugford (32) and Ollie Pluck (35) put together a good partnershop of 68, before they both fell in successive overs. Jameel (23no), Mark (10) and Adam (4no) pushed our score to a brilliant 163-5, aided by 46 extras. They started well with the opener hitting a six off the 5th ball of Max's over, but Max bowled him with a slower ball next delivery. Once Max had got the other opener, and him and Adam had bowled 3 overs each the run rate was huge. Max gave most of the players a bowl, with Jordan Smith taking 2-6, and Daniel Bernie 3-1 in their first bowl for the U15's. Ollie Pluck took the final wicket in the 13th over, and we had bowled them out for 47, and won by 116 runs. A great effort by the boys and should ensure we finish 2nd and go through to the knockout stages.
