Sulhamstead & Ufton batted first and were bowled out for 26 with the ever reliable Callum McCulloch bowling superbly to take 4 wickets for 6 runs in 4 overs. New boy Aquino Alexander also bowled well to pick up 3 wickets on debut.

In reply, Purley soon struggled with the bat themselves with Callum McCulloch and Aquino Alexander joint top scoring on 6. Eventually Matt Mures hit the winning runs in a very tense affair.
