Match report Against a strong Thatcham Light Blues side (they included 5 West Berkshire District players) and on a damp pitch Purley batted first and reached 60 for 8 off their 20 overs. Steady batting from James McGiveron (10) and Tom Purser (15) led the way against a good bowling attack in conditions helpful to the bowlers.

In reply the strong Thatcham batting line up (Adam Phillips 25 especially batted very well) struggled to pass the Purley in the 17th over for the loss of 8 wickets.

Excellent bowling from all of Purley's bowlers, well backed up by good catches by Jack Purser and Jake Collins and an excellent fielding display.
