Match report Purley again performed very well to overcome a strong Shinfield side.

Batting first, Purley posted a good total of 124 for 7 . Rohan Wijeratne batted very well for his 50 forming the basis of the innings, receiving solid support from Alex High (13) and Scott Robinson (18).

Shinfield were restricted to 62 for 5 in their 20 overs by a good Purley bowling display. Openers Tom Brampton and Callum McCulloch bowled very tightly to set the "tone", Tom making the first breakthrough with a fine catch by Matt Mures. First change bowlers Aquino Alexander (2 for 13) and Rohan Wijeratne (2 for 7) made further breakthroughs to complete an excellent performance by the whole team.
