Match report On a glorious evening the Under 11's were looking to get back to winning ways with the visit of Theale & Tilehurst to The Goosecroft. The skipper won the toss and invited the visitors to bat first. Excellent bowling from Owen (1-10) and Jimmy (2-5)pegged the visitors back early on before Joe B (2-3) Joe P (1-8) and a fantastic spell by Jack (3-4) restricted T&T to 87 for 9 from their 20 overs. In reply James and Jimmy batted really well both retiring on 25. Jake making his debut batted well before Owen and the Skipper saw us over the line. A comprehensive win with some excellent individual performances but more importantly a great team effort with everyone again contributing. We still gave too many extras away and we need to continue to work hard on this in training. (Typical coach - never happy!!) - Well done boys.
