Match report The Skipper won the toss and invited the visitors to bat first on a green wicket. Tight bowling at the top of the innings restricted Kidmore End's scoring opportunities early on with Jack(1-6) and Jimmy (1-5) bowling well. Purley continued to bowl well, with Owen(2-6) polishing off the top order, before Joe D (0-8), Joe P (0-4), Tyler S (1-8), James (1-7) and Joe B (1-12) restricted the visitors to 57 for 7 from 20 overs. Some excellent fielding and a couple of good catches contributed to a really good fielding performance. Special mention to Ollie who stopped a lot of 'runs' at fine leg. In reply we lost three early wickets before Ollie (13 not out) and Owen (8) steadied the ship before Joe P(8 not out)finished off the run chase. A good team performance with everyone contributing again. Well done!
