Match report A great start to the season for the Saturday 3rds. A very convincing 107 run win although against 10 men. The usual start as the skipper lost the toss, and we were put into bat. A poor start and we were 8-2. However, a brilliant 151 partnership between Kevin (106no) and Arshad (59) meant Pahi (33), James Mugford (15) and Nufail (11no) could come in and play freely to take us to an imposing total of 266-5 off 45 overs. Harry bowled a superb opening spell and took 2-25 off his 7 overs. Sam and Rifas finished them off with Rifas taking 2 and Sam 3. We didn't bowl particularly well and a few fielding errors, so much room for improvement, but a good start to the season, and maximum points.
