Match report Another great bowling and fielding performance gave us our 3rd win in 4. For once the skipper won the toss and elected to field. Arshad's first over had Murugan (who scored 209no last week) in all sorts of trouble. In his second over he took out the other opener and number 3. However, 16 year old Adam Khan got the BIG wicket of Murugan with a lovely ball that took the edge and was gratefully snaffled behind by the skipper. The bowlers were all excellent and when they did stray the fielders backed them up superbly to put scoreboard pressure on their batsmen. Nufail (2-21) and Sam W (2-12) did some middle order damage before Arshad came back to finish with superb figures of 10-5-9-4. We bowled them out for 87. Nufail and Sam fell cheaply before Gavin and Arshad steadied the ship. When Arshad fell for 4, Munzeer came in and joined Gavin and they both batted superbly to put on 42. Munzeer was 14no and Gavin a fantastic knock of 56no. We won by 7 wickets and picked up 34 points.
