Match report A much needed win for the 3rds today. The skipper won the toss and chose to bat on a hot day and good looking wicket. This was looking like a poor decision when we were 87-7. However, a brilliant 90 run partnership between Tejpal (88) and Junees (31) turned the game. We were bowled out for 201 in the 41st over, so disappointing not to use all our overs once again. Tejpal's innings included 13 fours and 4 sixes, a superb effort that turned them around completely. When they batted Harry Bell took over, and took 5 wickets as we reduced them to 26-6. Harry tried to get his 6th wicket for a baggy blue but had to settle for 2 months rent free at home, courtesy of his parents! His figures were 10-2-30-5. Sam W (2-13) and Junees (2-2) added to Sam Jugg's early wicket to complete the comprehensive win, as we bowled them out for 74 in the 21st over. A great team effort, along with the brilliant individual performances highlighted.
