Match report Another good win with a maximum points haul for the boys today. The skipper won the toss and after all the heavy recent rain and spongy track decided to have a bowl. Two early wickets for the opening bowlers gave us a good start. However, a good 3rd wicket partnership between Siva (32) and Vinoth (28) looked dangerous until Tejpal had both of them caught with the score on 79. Resistance from Keerthi (57) until he was last man out in the 43rd over with the score on 148. Junees again bowled well with 1-19 off 10, and Rifas 2-13 off 5 overs. We caught well and fielded well, and overall the skipper was happy to chase 149 to win. We got off to a good start and raced to 43-0 until the skipper was out for 30. We then lost in-form Pahi to a first baller and last week's hero Tejpal to a first baller. It looked game on when Rifas came in at number 8 with us on 98-6. Kevin was still there and him and Rifas batted superbly to score 52 runs to take us to 150-6 in the 43rd over and win the game by 4 wickets. Kevin batted very patiently and anchored the innings with 54no and Rifas finished 25no to end a fine all-round display from himself. A good performance once again from the whole team.
