Match report A great win for the Under 17's in their second league match of the season. Theale Skipper won the toss and chose to bowl. Max (28) got us off to a flying start, hitting his first ball faced for a 6, and racing to 28 before he was caught in the 5th over with the score on 43. Will (18) and James M (20) continued the momentum taking us to 100-3 in the 12th over. James D and Sam P (19no) then took us through to the last ball of the 20th over when James D was bowled for an excellent 68, and we had posted a very challenging score of 166-4. We started our fielding superbly well when Max bowled their skipper first ball. Everyone bowled well but the pick was Will Legg with figures of 4-1-9-3. They showed some resistance from H Hussain (33) and Ahmed (38no) at the end, but they were never close to the run rate at any time, and they closed on 105-6, so a very good 61 run win.
