Woodcote elected to bat, recovering from an excellent opening spell from Junees and Jacob, which saw three wickets fall cheaply, with a partnership of 100+ to post 243/6.
Jacob pick of the bowlers finishing with 3 wickets, debut wicket for Owen who bowled an excellent line and length.
In reply a number of our batsmen got off to decent starts, Rifas top scoring with 24 and a late flurry from Owen (13) and Matt Hearn (20 not out) saw us finish 167 all out.
A very good game against a strong opposition, looking forward to our next friendly fixture away to Shinfield on 25th.
