Match report Every coin toss this year has landed heads (I’ve not won them all), but I won the toss and we batted first on a decent looking track.
It definitely wasn’t easy, 28/1 at 10, 77/1 at drinks and left pondering what might be a decent score??
Needn’t have worried, Drew accelerated (as best he could with his dodgy knee and hip, will no doubt keep him confined to 3s for at least another month), Nick and Dogger supported and we posted an impressive 233 /6.
George and Sam opened bowling, tight lines and good length, Cyril into attack, Nick took three catches (lessons available!) then followed up with two wickets (finest of nicks through to Dogger), Cyril recovered from head butting the outfield to take two wickets (removing their danger man) and Sam returned to take couple at end, as we ran out worthy winners.
