Match report A 69 run win maintains the 3s push for promotion
Put into bat on an inconsistent (dodgy) wicket runs were at a premium. Alan hit a brisk 34 and Tom dug know for 19, but at 99/5 off 20 overs a defendable total looked a challenge. Milky and Nick added 30 and then George (23 not out) and Nick (43 not out) an unbeaten 70 to post 196/7.
Welford lost an early wicket and some tight bowling from all the bowlers saw the run rate escalate - Cyril and Richard two wickets each and Owen, Nick, Joe and Leo all picking up one, as we ran out winners.
