Match report An excellent 74 run win saw 3s maintain top position in Div 9a

Inserted on a dry looking pitch Thrived got us off to a flyer with a quick fire 40. Ben Hardy (74) and Tom Barclay (51) then compiled a third wicket stand of 105 and with a quick fire 27 from Pahi we posted a challenging 227/5.

Tight bowling and not so tight catching (albeit we took 7 including and impressive diving grab from Dogger) saw us always in control, wickets fell regularly and Newbury fell to 153 all out. Three wicket for Ben, two for George and one each for Nick, Jack, Adhrit and Cyril.
